The God's Garden,
Between the end of April and the beginning of May, I've lived one of the most amazing experiences of my life, an expedition in Amazon. We sailed for eight days, stopping by isolated communities along the Rio Negro river and at the same time diving deep into ourselves. The God's Garden is Amazon and, in this garden, the most beautiful flowers are the local people. These children, teenagers and adults, live in a simple way and despite their limited access to almost everything, they overflow wisdom, kindness and love.
Get to know the project
This film was made without a professional structure, just me, a backpack, an ambisonic portable microphone, a levalier microphone and a 360° camera. The post production counted with the collaboration of Maestro Billy on spacial audio design, the art direction of Mano Pimentel, Rômulo Nobre de Carvalho in motion design, in photograph post-production Adriano Casanova, as well as the support of the entire crew of Jóia Rara.
Charity photo series
In partnership with the Luka Gallery, we launched a series that portrays children from riverside and indigenous communities, in photos I took during the expedition, with an artistic collaboration and edition by Mano Pimentel.
All sales proceeds will be directly destined to Instituto Amor, to be invested in initiatives that seek solutions for the collective, bringing benefits to children, youth and adults in these isolated communities.

I am many things, just like you, because we are never just this or that. We are everything and we are no longer, because we change all the time.
I went to Amazon to prepare myself for a project I have been building on my thoughts over the last years. I needed to find out if I could do all the 360° video production on my own, capturing image, sound and directing at the same time.
The result of this test, was the work “The God's Garden”, a 360° mini documentary that talks about life, love and God, based on real testimonials from Rio Negro residents.
The fast-paced world in which we live makes us forget important things, such as the psychological capacity for empathy. Whenever there is an attempt to understand each other's feelings and emotions, love begins to exist, which in its different forms drives life. From my personal experience, the stories that went well, and the stories that went very wrong, I decided to better understand the phenomenon of love and how it manifests itself in different cultures. Does everyone believe in love? Is loving an universal feeling?
Amor 360° is an artistic and multi-cultural project consisting of a 360° film, for virtual reality and YouTube, and an interactive installation.
The film will be produced during a 60-day expedition in the cities where the seven wonders of the modern world are located.
In addition to the great cinematic scenarios, this emblematic places offer the cultural diversity I'm looking for to develop my research about the love phenomenon and human capacity of affection.
